Dear Prospective Parent:
Welcome to our world of fun and learning! Here at St. John's Westminster, we learn through play, balancing the social, physical, cognitive, and artistic/musical needs of children.
Our family environment and size allows children to make friends, both within the class and school-wide. We accomplish this through team-teaching, music class, large group celebrations, and events where the child invites his or her favorite person to join us for a day of special activities. We use a developmentally appropriate curriculum encompassing language, math, science, fine and gross motor skills, dramatic play, art, and music with sign language.
In our effort to meet the needs of today’s busy families, we added a drop-off service and an in-house snack program. Our focus for snacks is to provide nutritious fresh food without additives such as trans fats, MSG, or high fructose corn syrup. Our daily snack is also free of tree nuts.
We are proud of our school and how well children are prepared for kindergarten. We also love the process of discovery – instilling in children a love of learning and an appreciation for their own sense of value and giftedness. Please give us a call or stop in – we’d love to meet you and your child!
